Fast to Last: All about Fasting

What is fasting?

Fasting is a willing abstinence or reduction from some or all foods, drinks or both for a period of time.
Consider fasting as becoming whole with self. Fasting is physical, mental and spiritual.
How to Fast
Take it one day at a time. Do not give up. Remember what you are fasting for. (Health, Spiritual or Detox). Always hold on to the “WHY”.
Fast at least 4 days, anything under 4 days will not give you the benefits you are seeking.
When you are in a fast, you will cut out anything toxic to your body, mind or spirit. If you are serious, things you will need to cut out is:

  • Social Media
  • Sex
  • Using Profanity
  • Drama
  • Negative Thoughts
  • Limit the amount of TV you watch ; (no tv is best)
  • Hanging around toxic people that do not see your vision

Benefits

When you fast, you are allowing your body time to repair itself. You are letting each organ in the body function and do its job.
Fasting will make you LEAVE a relationship you been in for years. You will finally see people, things and situations for what they really are.

Types of Fast

No matter which fast you decide to do, you will benefit either way. Whether it’s spiritually, physically or mentally. Deciding on which fast is up to you. Below are the types of fast you can choose from:

  • Dry Fast – No food, No water, No liquids
  • Water Fast – No food, ONLY water
  • Liquid Fast – No solid foods, ONLY liquids

 

Inside the Body

Your body is breaking down the waste and junk that is stored within and as it breaks everything down it enters your blood stream. That now means all the processed foods, medications and toxins are flowing through the blood stream (trying to cleanse your body) and it is causing you to have headaches. You are now allowing your body to work! What it is designed to do.

Possible Side Effects

While fasting you are detoxifying the mind, body and spirit. You may discover side effects depending on how toxic you. Keep in your mind if you notice or experience any side effect you KNOW that your body is doing its job and getting rid of toxics within. You may even pass a parasite when you poop. Be prepared for these possible side effects.

  • Fatigue

  • Sinus Discharge

  • Tongue covered with mucus

Breaking your Fast

Warning! Breaking your fast the wrong way can literally HURT you. Please please please do your own research on breaking a fast the incorrect way.

Here’s an example.
After doing a 21 Day Fruit Fast, that means Fruit Only + Water + Herbal Tea. After you complete your fast you would damage yourself if you broke your fast with a Cheese Burger, Fries and a Coke. DO NOT EVER DO THIS. EVER!!!!
Depending on which fast you are doing you must SLOWLY introduce solid/cooked foods back into your diet. Take your time. This is very important. If you break your fast the wrong way then your entire fast was a waste. Do not do that!

Challenge
Now it’s time to get HEALED, challenge yourself to complete a fast that best works for you. If you are a beginner, start with 1 day and work yourself up to a minimum of 4 days.
